Hi peoples! Well I had a miscarriage last week, starting Tuesday, but heavy bleeding from Wednesday, and finished bleeding about Monday and my doc said to wait till I've had my next period before we start trying for a baby again. Well I just started bleeding again today! 11 days after the miscarriage started Do you think this could be AF already?!?! Or maybe stuff left over from the miscarriage that hadn't come out yet? I was 8 weeks preg but the embryo stopped growing at 5 weeks according to the scan.
I want to ring my doctor but waiting for my boss to go out so she doesn't hear me!!

So sorry Rach. It is horrible not knowing what is going on. I hope your boss goes ASAP so you can at least make a phone call to your doctor. Can you go somewhere and use your cell phone to call?
I didn't get a period until about a month after my m/c so I am not sure if it would be your period or not. I guess it could be just more stuff clearing out like you said. I hope you can call the doctor soon. Am sure it is all fine but it would be nice to ring for reassurance.
Take care of yourself.

i second what katie said ..i think you have to go 20 days without bleeding or it to be classed as a period..but I'd check with doc.

Oh weird, can't be my period then... Haven't had a chance to use the phone yet. It is only me and the boss here and I suggested she should go get some fresh air! But she is playing spider solitaire instead hopefully she'll go out soon or leave early!
Yesterday my doctor rang me and I told her I'd finished bleeding and she said that's good that I did it naturally without medical intervention, and that I'd get a period after my levels are back down at 0 (which I have a blood test on Wed next week to check) so maybe they are back to 0 already? Who knows! I hope it is AF coz then it's sooner that we can start TTC again, but like you say it hasn't really been long enough!

My doc today said I should get a period in about 4-6 weeks. Hope you managed to get hold of your doc. Oh and mine said I could carry on as I was, whatever the hell that means

I think you might be finishing up the m/c. My m/c bleeding went for 14 days and that is apparently completely within the realms of normal (that was only 2 weeks post-Ov).

True it must be from the miscarriage. I did a pregnancy test this morning hehe, to check if I still have hormones in my body and it was still faintly positive. I'm sure I couldn't get a proper period if I still have pregnancy hormones in my body! I'll just be patient and wait it out
