when its hot, I give Jacob yoghurt, with fruit peices mixed up in it, or cold pasta, with chopped up ham in it, fruit salad, that sort of thing. He dosen't really eat alot when he's too hot, so I make sure he drinks lots of cold milk/water

Maya used to love (and still does) cucumber cut into sticks with the skin removed, blueberries (great for fine motor skills but beware the dirty nappies!), rockmelon, cold cocktail sausages (skin off)...

Just cook up her veges in the morning and give them to her refrigerated? I'm thinking 'fingers' of carrots and kumara etc

Even thou its hot, you can microwave spaghetti (make sure its stirred before you give it to her to even out the temp) and give that to her. Same with pasta do it in the microwave. But eating fruit and stuff like that in this heat for dinner would be fine.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
