Just 300gms down for me on Saturday, its half way to weigh day again LOL more exercise this week so hoping that I'll be able to have a more respectable loss this week Still happy its going in the right direction and have managed to stay focused, officially have lost 6kgs now, a whole stone, not much compared to some but not bad. Would like to see if I can get down to 73kgs by May when the baby making is due to commence!!

Alrighty have assessed the damage. I am 113.3 - probably the only one who has joined a weight loss thread and gained weight lol. Anyway going to really go for it this time.
Day 1 of my goal for the week - calorie count for the day is 252 under my 'allocation' but I think that my allocation is high anyway. I am aiming for 1600. So after completing my entry (and yes I am going to actually stick to the plan today) My Fitness Pal tells me;
If every day were like today... You'd weigh 108.8 kg in 5 weeks
Woop! So that is just under a kg a week.
My toe is feeling heaps better and my nephew is coming to stay the night so if it's not pouring down this avo we will go for a walk to the park.

Oh wow Julia - they have me on 1920 but that seems so much. The good thing is though I am planning for 1600 but I can go over that by up to 320 and still be in the zone for weight loss.
Yay Dal! Would love to see some pics too - will you do a big reveal afterwards??

Alex - an average daily intake is about 2500, then they take off 500 for weight loss .. so I would think 1900 ish is about right.

Thanks J! Your comment made my day!
Why do you think I look tonned and not just smaller - do you think its because of the weight sessions that Im doing?
Hmmm you never know - could get into this body building thing with comments like that
I do feel a lot fitter so that is awesome!
Alex PM me your email and I'll flick you some before and during photos if you want.
NIKKI!! You need to get back on track! Just keep thinking of all the bikini bodies on the beach (although you totally have a bikini body now)!
Alex you can do this, just keep thinking about how much you want it.
Motivational quote for the day girls is:
"Dont give up what you want at the moment,
For what you want the most"

I could be having a blonde moment, but the quote doesnt make sense to me ..
Should it read .. Give up what you want at the moment, for what you want the most?
Dal - id say its the weight training .. you just look harder (which is a good thing).

Well the scales did move but in the wrong direction. I am really annoyed by it cos I have exercised most days this week and my eating has been heaps better (but could still be better) I suppose I just need to get over it and keep on going. I even turned down chocolate biscuits and sponge roll at morning tea time so I do know I can go without. Just need some sign that what I am doing is actually paying off.
Well done to everyone else for their loss.

Oh Oscarboo that does sux! Try being extra extra good this whole week and then see what next weeks results are.
Eva! You and your naughty little pig out - but can totally understand its so hard when AF is arriving eh.
One thing I was told is remember the feeling of when you looked at the scales and you have gone up - hold on to that feeling when you reach for something that you shouldnt be - its totally helping me stay on track!
I'll flick you some photos through now x

Bummer at the increases!
One good thing about having something concrete to aspire to is that you learn to just not to eat anything that will hinder your progress. The first AF I found hard, now I dont even notice, so maybe your body just gets used to it.
The last two AFs Ive manage to still lose weight while having it (which rocks) .. although its usually only 1/2 kg on the week that I have AF .. but its better than nothing, hell im happy if the weight just stays the same that week.

Just bought a very handy lil book - calorie counter - nz foods!
It has all the take out places and ethnic foods like thai/chinese etc and all of our nz brandnames.
It will really help me to meal plan and I can check low cal options before I even get to the supermarket ;-)
Going out for indian tonight with a group from DF's work so I don't quite know what to eat there! Off to browse the menu now and look it up in my lil book

Can I join in here too please??
Three weeks ago I got on the scales and I was 77kgs. I am a very small boned, petite sized person, so this weight is really not good for someone my size. I should be about 58kgs. So, my goal is to reach 58kgs by 9th October 2010 - which is the day that I am to be bridesmaid for my cousin. I have been following a Weight Watchers type eating plan, not counting points but being sensible about my food portion sizes and choices. I am doing a mixture of cardio (exercycle at home) and resistance training (The Firm dvd and equipment). In three weeks I have lost 4.7kg, so I am now 72.3kgs. That means I have 14kg's to go.
I love that you all give each other awesome support on here, so I'm looking forward to getting amongst it!
