Just wondering if anyone is having or had this problem? Lucy, 3 months, is not wanting to take the breast on her last fed at night before bedtime. She screams and cries, quite stressful. This is usually around 6 - 8pm. Is this normal or just a phrase?

We end up giving in and getting her some formula. I have expressed today, just in case of another performance.

maybe she's not hungry right then...??? have you tried putting her to bed without and seeing what happens?

maybe try eariler then u use to for her last feed if not get her check out just incase she has a sore thuoght

Is she overtired at that time? Xanda gets that wy when he is overtired, he just works himself up and I have to calm him down first before trying to feed him.

Yep... she is!! My hubby has to hold her legs (and put her in a straight jacket) haha kidding, to make her think of something else. We do tons to "Shhooooing" and that seems to work aswell.

Have you tried feeding her abit earlier just before she becomes overtired? Say 5.45pm. How did you go last night?
