ok iv read a heap of AF topics on here and nothings really helping me out.
Whats the longest time that AF has taken to come back? I feel silly missing it... but im worried why it is taking so long.

We are still BF but sleeps through 90% of the time so only the odd night feed.

I did go on the mini pill about 4months ago, but i could never remember to take it, plus my sex drive is in the negatives so was pretty pointless. only took it for about a month.

I was fully BF Ella and I got it when she was around 101/2 months- 11 months old. I think it's perfectly normal to take a while for it to come back. I am hoping that this time around it takes just as long to come back. |

Mine came back when Jake was 9 months, but I was down to one BF then - it basically came back 2 weeks after I went to one bf. Pretty normal I think if you're still bf'ing.

Took 12 and 1/2 months to come back here and my boy was sleeping through the night from about 8months. I think it is quite varied as to how long it take to come back.

I know the am I aren't I UTD feeling! Mine has just kindof come back - a few days spotting here and there (nothing like a 'real' AF), and I'm just in the process of weaning DD now at 15 months. I made it to 2 years without AF (from LMP date ), and was sooo happy! I am on the minipill though, so think that is what is stuffing me up a little.
Don't panic - I believe that sometimes your body won't get AF back until you are ready in body & mind to have another baby but maybe stock up on some HPTs just incase |

I haven't had mine back either and we are down to just 2 BF a day, glad to see tho that it can be the 'norm' although I wouldn't worry if I got preg again any time soon lol ETA...I just thought I have very irregular cycles anyway and dont ovulate on good fertility drugs let alone whilst BFing lol so me not having AF isn't anything unusual....so probably wont help you much anyway hahaha

Mine came back at 14 months when I went to school for 8 weeks and cut out day feeds during that time |

I didn't get mine until 9months, and I stopped breastfeeding at 7 :) Also, I had been cutting down feeds since 6months.

Lil miss is going to be 16 mths in a few days, and no sign of AF... and no, I am definitely NOT UTD!
I got it back at 5 mths with Maya, 10 weeks with the gremlins. I think what's made the difference this time is that the lil miss is still feeding 6-8 times a day most days and we didn't really cut out night feeds until around a month ago.
