Hi I don't know if anyone remembers me but I sorta tried to join in at the end of last year and then I went on maternity leave and didn't really get much time to come online. Anyway I am back at work part-time so have uninterupted access again!
I have 2 littles, Gabrielle who is my October 07 bub and Tane who was born in Jan this year.
The last time I was on here I remember you were pregnant Nikki but I thought you were due way after me - did you have your lil boy early? Hope everything is ok - I remember that some health probs were picked up in your scan?
Congrats on your baby girls as well Bel - You sound like you are doing a great job! Gabrielle got 6 new teeth in Tane's first 6 weeks so that wasn't fun!
Congrats on your pregnancy Deb :) Hope you feel better soon!

Welcome back alyxw! I remember you .Must be a challenge juggling work and 2 wee ones. I work 3 days a week and find that a good balance.
Eva wasn't too happy about being dropped off at DC this morning, having not been for a couple of weeks
. Seems to have grown a few new teeth over the last week.
Peachy, how's Lauren after her fall?

Hi alyxw, welcome back!
kabe, glad to hear you had a great trip, now back to reality huh? Hope Eva settles back into d/c o.k!
Lauren is fine, its just a scab now where the cut/graze is under her eye. The black eye went away so fast, luckily little ones seem to heal alot faster than we do!
We are off out tonight for dinner for my brothers birthday. Mums babysitting, so I have the arvo to myself and then a nice relaxed evening without toddler chasing! Might even have a wine or two
Lauren had swimming today, she is progressing so well at the moment so I am stoked! She even started doggy paddling today and kicking without instruction from me first! Hopefully the expense is starting to pay off finally

Hey PEACHY its my sisters birthday today too! I'm waiting to call her (time difference between NZ & France) for a catch up.
Just chomped down dinner and i feel as big as a house! Hate that feeling until the food has been digested!
Had midwife today, all is well. I'm measuring 32cm at 32 weeks so bang on the mark! Got to take some iron tablets, I'm running a bit low. Kinda funny cause I asked for some around 20/30wks and neither midwife or OB would write me a script. Finally MW did today.....maybe that'll make me feel more energetic in the afternoons......here hoping!!!
Splashed out at Briscoes sale today and bought the matching valance for Ellas quilt cover.....naughty...naughty....but I couldn't help myself!
Hope everyone had a great day today

Welcome back alyxw! Congrats on having a little boy! I like the name Tane How on earth do you work and have two little ones????
Yep, you were due before me, but my little one was in too much of a rush. He was born at 26 weeks Now 16 weeks old and still in hospital, but he is doing so well - I'm very proud of my little fighter
Hope Eva settled back into DC quickly, Kabe.
Only 8 weeks to go, aye Salifer. Time certainly flies!

Welcome back alyxw! I remember you too. How's life with two little ones?
Kabe- hope Eva gets back into the swing of things quickly.
Peachy - Lauren sounds like a natural in the water! Hope you're having a good night tonight.
Salifer - hope the iron gives you the boost you're after.
We've just had some sh*t news. DH's brother and wife are splitting up. They've been together since they were teenagers and married for almost eight years, they've got two daughters too. We knew things weren't going too well and they were going to counselling, but it's definitely all over now. DH has just gone around now to have a chat with him. It's frustrating too, since it's DH's birthday on Saturday and we were planning on a family thing - not sure what the plan will be now.

*hands up* another one who remembers alyxw, Nice to see you back in here.
Monster that's not great news about your ILs.
Sal, I was also looking at your ticker thinking ekk, after you it's me this time around, and you've only got 8 weeks. Here's hoping the iron does the trick. I had mine checked a couple of weeks back and mine was all good, but I seem to be tired a lot at the moment.
Peachy Lauren seems to be doing really well at swimming.

Hi Alyxw - congrats on your wee boy!
Thanks for having us on Tue Nikki - it was great to see you all - and Rex was showing off! Him and Tala were so cute playing together (while A kinda did her own thing..)
Glad the funeral went well Nik and Rex behaved.
Not long to go Sal! Eeek!
sorry to hear about your DH's brother Monster - that really does suck, especially with 2 kids involved.
Sounds like Lauren's swimming is going well. We've just missed out in getting in for another term of lessons, but on the wait list...
Have a nice weekend everyone. My mother is arriving tomorrow

kabe yep work is a bit challenging but i am quite lucky as i get to bring Tane to work with me :) Gabrielle loves in-home care too as she has a 2yo boy to play with and they have become real buddies. I am part-time too but work 5 days although it is cruisy - cruisier than being home lol!
Nikki - wow your lil boy really is a fighter - he has overcome some serious odds by the sounds of things!! You must be very proud :)
Nice to see some more preggy tickers and not too long to go for some! Exciting stuff :)

Oooh so we could have a child model in our midst!! Yay Oli!
Welcome back Alyx, glad there is another crazy mum here! Am waiting for some more of these babies to pop out so everyone can find out what fun it is!
I survived overnight on my own - nothing too major! Luke woke (as he does!) for a couple of hours, but that meant that he slept until 7am! I didn't take any notice of him, he was pretty quiet, but I knew he was awake.
We had a friend and her 18mth old visit this morning - was good for Luke to have another kid to play with, but Connor was pretty wimpy - scared of my tough boy. Luke didn't even do anything!
Now we having a quiet afternoon, Amy asleep and Luke wandering around playing and whinging... the weather is getting worse, expecting to see big rain before bedtime. Has been really windy all day and colder too.

Windy day here too Bel, but not that cold. Eva had a friend over this morning for a play date and in the afternoon we met up with a coffee grp friend at a mall. Went out for dinner too, so a fairly busy day. Eva's been a real sweetie lately and I've really been enjoying her company.
Forgot to say that I weighed her on the luggage scales at the airport and she's nearly 12kg . Not sure how tall she is. Might trying measuring her over the weekend.
Have posted some pics in the gallery. Here is one for babyg!

So many babies on their way - not long to go now!
Cute pic of Eva.
Hope you had a nice weekend with your mum, DJ.
Well we went ahead with DH's birthday afternoon tea and it was fine. His brother stayed with us on Thursday night, but is now staying with friends of family closer to his home. He and his wife turned up together with the kids so it's amicable enough. They're trying seperate counselling as a last-ditch effort - hopefully there will be a positive outcome. The fact that we are all able to talk about it helps, I think.

Sal - that seems to be pretty right - Luke is a bit more clingy since Amy arrived, so I am definitely giving one of them attention pretty much all of the time! I have managed to get them both sleeping at the same time the last few days which has been great! But still doesn't leave alot of time to yourself. DH and I have been talking about that today, as we haven't had a lot of time together lately.
Luke has really been pushing the boundaries the last few days so we are trying to crack down a bit on his behaviour - more for us than him - we realised that we need to work on being consistent as I get him improving during the week only to have it all fall over in the weekends... But he is so tired today, so that isn't helping!
kabe - Eva is looking as cute as ever! Must catchup with you all soon - these babies are growing up so fast!
