Any bright suggestions.

My DD is teething that last of her first 4 molars (does that make sense)

She is sooo grumpy when she wakes up and gets all upset if you try to delay giving her a bottle while i give her paracetamol but then if you try and give it to her after a bottle she spits out it (i guess she figures she is full and being grumpy doesnt help)

When she isnt teething she is brilliant to give paracetamol to!

Hubby goes to work early so i am on my own doing this - i dont suppose paracetamol can be added to the morning bottle?

Or any other smart suggestions on getting the drugs into her!

K

KazS do you use Bonjela or a teething spray or powder? Could you perhaps give that on wake up instead of the Pamol and then give Pamol a bit later in the morning if need be?

lol KazS, I have my moments! Sometimes another perspective is just what you need!

I hope it works for you, let me know how you get on! And FX those molars come through quickly for you and your DD's sake

Edited for spelling - brought on by tiredness from my own little teether

Hope the bonjela or whatever does the trick but just wanted to say that C's doc said putting pamol in his bottle was absolutely fine (we used to do it in the middle of the night rather than trying to do both separately).

I've put pamol in my DS bottle too on occassion.  I've also been putting some teething powder in his last night bottle lately instead of pamol while his 4 eye teeth come up.  Seems to be working like magic

Not sure how old your DD is, but my DD has never taken medicine off a spoon.

A friend recommended putting it into a very small amount of lemonade and getting her to drink it with a straw. Naughty I know, but I can promise this trick works a treat

Thanks all for your suggestions.

She woke up her normal self this morning - bright as a button and full of cuddles and kisses - quite the opposite from the last 2 mornings so i didnt get to test your ideas!

Thanks
