Yup, the ones from the supermarket are good and you can just chuck them in the oven - we just got three or four boxes of those type of things (plus some other stuff) when we put on our engagement party... and it was great ! Very easy.

There is a place in Takanini down Great South Road that sells them in bulk lots (not 1000 or anything but more than you could buy at a supermarket) Can't remember what its called though!!! My mother bought some from there and used some of them for our lunch etc on the day of my wedding.
Ok just looked at the Yellow pages and there is a place called Party Time, 181 Gt Sth Rd, Takanini. Not sure if that is the one or not... Anyway its down the industrial stretch on the right hand side heading towards Papakura. Might be worth a drive on the weekend or I'll have a look if I go that way!

Wendy where in South akl are you? Can you get to Otahuhu? The indian mini super markets have them and they are cheap! You can buy all sorts. Vege, chicken, lamb, beef samosas and same with the spring rolls. Let me know and I will give you directions/name. Pak n save is good too for mini muffins, cakes etc.

Wow Manurewa....Cool I live in Manurewa....the South Akl mums should get together one day.
Ok Mohshims discount House on Great shouth Road (539) Otahuhu will be the best place to buy variety of small finger foods. It is not to far from the statue, on your left hand side (if you are coming from Manurewa). Parking is at the bottom...really busy place..you can tell its there because it is full of indians...he he ha ha.
However you could also try Rockyz Mini mart on Crn Great South road/Hill Road, Manurewa. They might have some too (Not too sure).
