I have just gone back to FA for a review after trying clomid. Clomid seams to do absolutely nothing for me so now they are starting me on daily injections once the provera kicks in. A wee bit anxious about injecting myself daily for 3 weeks but if its what i need to do to get my BFP bring it on.

Who else is out there right now doing the same thing as me??
I think its puregon?? Im about to start

I'm wondering if I am going to end up needing something similar, seeing as I only ov'd 1 out of my 3 clomid cycles?? I'm guessing they may give me 3 more cycles though seeing as 1 did work. But would be interested to hear more about this too.

GL Jem, I can understand feeling nervous about having to inject yourself but as you say, worth it if it gets you your bfp!!

My DS was an OI success story. But I wimped out on the injections, had to get my hubby to do it!

Thankfully he did the first stab while I was telling him how useless I was after spending 30 minutes trying to pysch myself into it, so I didn't even see it coming, and was suprised how little it actually hurt.

4 months later I still couldn't bring myself to do it. The nurses at FA assured me they could show me how to do it, but I decided it was a way for dear hubby to be a part of the journey.

Humum yay for having your DS from it. hahaha I had my first sho on saturday and had no chioce but to do it myself since DH had to work.
I was so nervous all day and when i went to do it I all of a sudden chickened out looked down and it was too late i had already got the needle the whole way in and I barely felt it. So I just went with it hahaha the worse part of the injections is all in the head and the hours leading up to having to do it.
hahaha after pulling the injection out I was shaking so so bad lucky the nervous shakes came after doing it and not b4 ouch haha.

How long did it take you to get UTD with your DS??

Think we did 4 months of OI, but we'd clomid for years prior to that. Funny now he's here I really don't remember the long battle to get him.

We did just enough to be eligible for govt fundin! Paid for the last one ourselves just to be sure the drugs worked and here he is.

Not sure y you are doing OI, I have PCOS, and I'm sure giving up coffee and eating differently helped to make the drugs work.

I didn't eat badly either, but decided perhaps I was really sensitive to some food. So I cut out all sugar and white flour/bread. And stopped my one-two cuppa coffee a day habit.

Fingers crossed it all happens for you....
