Hi all,

I'm almost 18 weeks and have just found out my midwife is unable to carry on care as she has to move.

Can anyone recommend a midwife in Palmerston north - I'm currently with Vanessa Jackson who is absolutly awesome . I've had a few probs so far so would like someone with experience is possible however i may be pushing my luck!

Oh i'm due june.

I had Anna K, she was absolutely fabulous.

Can recommend Karen Knox as well, she was my backup mw at my homebirth & I saw her for some of my post natal checks.

Smidget you might have organised someone by now...

But I had Katrina Symes and she is amazing. Cathy Symes was her backup and present at my birth- and she is fab too.

As others have said you probably have found someone. But I had Lesa Haynes at Before Birth And Beyond (at the palms). She was so fantastic and so relaxed and easy going. If I was still in Palmy I would use her again. She also at the time I had her had a student with her who is now fully qualified I can not remember her last name but her first was Sherry and she was fantastic. Im so grateful to have had two wonderful midwives.

I had Nikki Murtagh who works with Vanessa Jackson and she was lovely :)
