After going to the Plaza yesterday, something occurred to me and I'm wondering (not expecting an answer, just pondering) what is going to happen to the Santa Cave that is in Farmers when Farmers moves to the Plaza?
I hope it still stays open (somehow), because I used to love going there as a kid and I want to take my kids there too...even my grandma remembers going there.
Some of the stuff in there is SO old, I guess it wouldn't be able to be moved safely? So I hope whichever store takes over will keep the cave open...
Either way, I'm definitely taking my boy there this year, just in case!
Although I am looking forward to the 'new' Plaza when it's finished!

Hmmmm maybe they will have something in the Plaza instead?
The new plaza will be wicked. I've seen loads of design photos of what it will look like when its done. Soooo much bigger!

Yeah, possibly. I was just wondering what would happen to the original one. It's been around for years, it would be kinda a shame for it to close up for good.
Oh I know, it's going to be awesome! The extra parking especially is going to be fantastic. Be interesting to see what the new stores that are going in are going to be.
Oh well, more excuses to shop.

I never knew that Farmers was moving into there! I'm sure they will have thought of it, especially with Christmas not too far away.

I thought Farmer's moving was stage 2 or 3, which wont be by Christmas.
I thought Stage 1 was the new food court?

ooooh ooooh the Farmers cave!!! So cool! Remember there were always little feet on the floor from when you went in the main Farmers door and you could follow them to the cave!
I didn't know they were doing up the plaza - sounds big!

Farmers is Stage 3 (the last thing to be done in 2010) so we still have 2 years of the santa cave down there.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yeah, I know it's not moving this year, I was just wondering what would happen to it when Farmers DOES move.
I'm taking my toddler this year just in case it doesn't stay open once the move is over!
