Topic: Pamco Nusery Furniture in CHC? Posted: 30 March 2010 at 6:41pm |
Has anyone purchased a cot from Pamco?
I was originally just searching the internet for white cots (I really want one!) and came across them on Trademe. I'm liking the look of the Tudor one.
They appear to be really well constructed and state they can also be converted to day beds as well.
The thing is that they are $300 cheaper than other similar ones I've seen... am I getting a total bargain? Or are they poorly/cheaply constructed?
Anyone bought one?

Oooo! I've been looking at the exact same model, and wondering the same thing.
I shall watch with interest.

Well, just showed Hubby and he's thinking along the same lines as me... seems too good to be true!
I hope not, I'd love a great cot for that price

We have the Pamco cot and change table in white. They're great, we haven't had any problems with them at all. Their inner-sprung mattresses are good too. And no complaints at all about their service/delivery etc.

Both my children are in white pamco cots, I bought off trademe but we went to their factory to check them out first.
They're awesome we got the type that change to a junior bed, which is how my oldests is set up now and overall his cot has been used for 2.5 years and is still going strong. He uses it as an indoor trampoline so it gets a lot of abuse.
Delivery was quick and we got the inner sprung mattresses too which I think they said they sell at wholesale price.
Would definitely recommend them.

I got a 2nd hand Pamco off trade me. We painted it white and I ordered all new parts (slidy things) from the company as the ones that came with the cot were brown.
I love it, its great, very sturdy

We have one after returning a dud cot we got from baby factory.
I got one off a recommendation from cuppatea who has one for her boys too. I love it - very sturdy.
If you buy them off TM though, check they know which colour you are wanting! We bought a white one (then returned our other one on the way to get the Pamco one) - turned up and they only had stained ones, so we just got that as we needed a cot. Turns out it was OK as we could have either in our house, but I did initially want a white one.

$699 new?! crazy! They're having a sale next week tho I saw in the brochure - I think furniature was 40% off? Still, if you get a better deal on TM then go for it! I'm thinking of modifying the cot we have so it's solid at one end like those ones - they're so nice!
