Doesn't say anything on the bottle I have as I removed the prescription sticker a while back.

My boy is 14 months old and the other day when he was weighed just over 14 kg. So going by that how much am I allowed to give him and how often?

I never use the stuff but his teeth are coming through and he's been screaming all day long argh

Also how many mls in a standard teaspoon? Can't put my hands on a medicine spoon or cup. Looks like i'll be stopping off at the chemist tomorrow

TIA

If it is  the pink stuff the dose is 8.5mls.  A teaspoon is about 5mls

You can give him 6 mls Steph. I just looked at Josh's bottle.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

thats about right.  i tend to give Tom his doses every 4 hours when he is awake and REALLY upset and then as he calms down I stretch it out to 6 hours.  Main thing is he cant have more than 4 doses in 24 hours as the liver cant break down paracetamol any faster.

Thanks ladies, I gave him 1.5 teaspoons and won't give him anymore unless he wakes in the night and it's been 6 hours since this dose. I don't like giving him the stuff, hence why the bottle has been sitting there for MONTHS collecting dust.

But today is a diff story ...for sanity's sake I NEEDED to give him some lol

Stupid me though, now that I think about it I didn't give the bottle a good shake before administering it to him duh
