I agree with emz! Perfumes that smell great on some people can smell disgusting on others. Buying perfume is sooo overwhelming these days because there are so many to choose from!!!
I usually wear Hypnotic Poison. I also have Stella by Stella McCartney and Issey Miyake for a light summer fragrance.

I'm the same, love fruity/fresh smelling fragrances but not flowery or musky scents.
Floral by Paul Smith is a fave (is not strong or flowery, despite being called floral).

Reaction by Kenneth Cole is another.

I Love Love by Moschino is my other fave, it smells bad when you spray it out of the bottle (IMO) but give it a few mins on your skin and it smells divine.

For a light summer fragrance I wear DKNY or Gucci Rush 2.
But my favourite is Chanel No 5 although its not fruity at all.

D&G is a favourite of a friend of mine but its more soapy smelling if you ask me.

Another thing is.. which ones are parfum's and which ones are toilette's? Because I don't like toilette's personally - they're basically toilet spray (french translation lol) and don't last as long so you end up using more.

I'm a bit of a perfume nut, at the moment I have:
Pure Poison (Dior)
 Romance (Ralph Lauren)
Romance - Always Yours (Ralph Lauren)
 Envy (Gucci)
 Envy Me (Gucci)
 Sun, Moon and Stars (Lagerfeld)
 Eternity (Calvin Klein)

The other thing to remember with perfumes is that they don't last forever, they do go "off" with time, so sometimes buying the biggest bottle doesn't work out to be more economical - I always buy the smaller bottles as I have several fragrances I wear so wouldn't get thru a big bottle.

And you can help them last longer by storing them in a cool, dark place. I keep mine in a drawer in my bedroom.

I second Cool waters by davidoff. Really fresh and not musky at all! Im another hater of musky smells. Baby doll is another nice one, a bit stronger than cool waters though! Perfume is such a personal thing, its hard to say what you would like and wouldn't!

Oooh I love perfumes, I want a new one too and know what it is but have totally forgotten the name lol.
Some of my all time favourites -
 Clinique Happy
Estee Lauder Beautiful (I think it might be Beautiful Love, its not just the plain Beautiful one) - I wore this one for my wedding day. Yum!
DKNY Be Delicious (I like the green one)
Body Shop Vanilla (do they still do that one??)

For anyone interested I read something intriguing today.
You can design your own perfume at Yves Andre (Company who does Yves saint etc) in Auckland for $500
Yes very dear, but you can make it a group event and everyone chip in.
