Thanks :)
Ive looked at Windows Maker but thought it looked quite hard to work - is it or is it pretty easy?
Are you able to have it go between photos to movie to photos? Or do you have to have it go photos photos photos then movie type thing.
Does that make sense?

I'll show you what I made with it on my first attempt and you can see for yourself. It was reasonably easy, im not all that computer literate ...I had sooo much fun making it, am going to make a 2nd montage of bub soon. Has LOTS of effects, i spend days and nights doing it lol
And yup you can go between movies and photos and movies

It's easy as, you just import the file into the programme (you click import video, or import picture) then click and drag it onto the timeline wherever you want it and you can just click and drag things around to however you want and add titles and effects and import songs from your computer to add to the movie too. I love it! Have made quite a few, have another to post tomorrow in the gallery for Paris's birthday. I'd say Movie maker is definately great.

Windows Movie Maker was the first one i used for Kylahs Birth - 6 month video. You can use video and photos and add mp3 etc and i found it easier than anything i have used so far :)
Im using Ulead DVD factory ATM and cant figure out why it wont let me add mp3 as music grrr

Awesome thanks guys.
Wow Steph - what a gorg bubba Lucus is!
You really did such a great job, Im going to have a good look at this programme tonight exciting!
I couldnt hear the music on this computer, but can you put snippets of MP3s or do you have to have the whole song? Also with the videos can you blank out the music so you can actually hear whats being said/done etc on the video?
AND last question, can you put it on DVD?

You can have snippets or whole songs, you can hear whats being said/laughing as well as the music ...if you had sound you would have heard roxette-listen to your heart was the background song I used and you could hear bub laughing over top of it in the videos :D and at the end he says 'nana' and runs off
Yup you can burn it to DVD, I just haven't figured out that part yet lol.

It's amazing what you can do with technology huh!
I didn't even realise I had this program on my laptop until my brother was using it one day ....felt like I hit the jackpot with it!

My photos and videos are all taken off a digital camera (Canon A540 to be exact ) ....it's done me good my camera considering it wasn't expensive!
And yes you can have snippets of a video, you can 'split' the video to however short you'd like that clip to be. I love fading the videos in to the photos and vice versa ...so cool!

Kylah is windows movie maker as easy as Ulead? How would you generally compare the two. We have got Ulead but am wondering about buying movie maker.
What do you think?

Katie, Windows Movie Maker should already be installed on your computer.
If you go to Programs > Accessories > Windows Movie Maker
