i was wondering if maybe something could be done about the pics on the site. it doesnt make sense for the pics to be so big when the space for the posts is not very big. can the pics size not be restricted? anyone else agree/disagree?

I don't understand what the point is in having 2 scroll bars and advertising down the right hand side of threads, it's completely pointless. Especially the scroll bar that pops up and disappears on the side of the posts.
Why not put the advertising below the posts and above the post reply box, do away with the scroll bar on the posts and have the whole screen. I do agree with the picture sizing though, it must be harder for you girls that have slower computers or dialup . Maybe instead have a size like 600 x 400 limit then they are a good size to view and there is detail. Although if you got rid of the rubbish on the right side of the screen it might not be such an issue.

the limit is a good idea as I think the only reason the pictures are so big, is people don't realise when they put them on. Having a restriction will mean they can get told before it goes up, rather than posting and then posting again saying "woah". Get it?

I resize my photos before I post them but they still look huge when I post them but for others they look normal size, I dont get that.

Since the revamp the whole forum is off centre....can't see the full name of the post or who sent it. I read that others had this problem so was hoping it would get fixed.

i would love it if there was a size limit on photos. i'm technologically impaired and it would be really helpful for me if i was told that my photos are too big before i post them. i never sem to be able to get the size right and it's kinda embarassing

Will forward this on to Ang...

In the meantime, for anyone who is interested, I downloaded a free program called irfanview from www.irfanview.com which makes it really simple to resize pictures. I usually resize mine to 500X375 but it also compresses the file size which makes it faster for the pages to load. And it's super simple for technphobes like me...

We actually do have a restriction on the size of pictures uploaded into the message boards on OHbaby!
However, if someone is putting an image link on that comes from an entirely different site we have no control over the size of the image - unless we elminate totally the ability to have images from other websites viewed on ours...
 Which would you prefer?
