I actually like some of those applications, especially the games and the quizzes are good for a laugh. I've managed to catch up with old flatmates and school friends and people I used to work with.  It's also a good way to keep in touch with my cousins who live away from Auckland. |
Appkications like Bubble town are my current time waster

I have both, and I am on FB a lot more now :) Most of my aussie friends are on there and old schoolfriends etc. I don't add a lot of "apps" but I do every now and then |

 I far prefer FB.
I like the chat they've just added to it, too.
The most fun (IMO) part is seeing what the "popular" kids from school are up to now, and for the most part, feeling a little smug that they're still living at home and doing the same supermarket job they were doing 10 years ago (for example).

Oh dear, bitch level on high tonight

Or, using it to stalk ex-boyfriends! I love Facebook! I love the part where you can edit your status, so "Jade is . . . . " I really like reading the witty things people write and knowing the random stuff they are up to.

I like bebo for the pretty colours too but I tend to use FB more now, I like that I can upload vids directly to FB which I never figured out how to do with my bebo page.
