This is an odd request, but im hoping some of you can help ,.....
Im making a christmas present for a friend (well , her and her husband) , their daughter (my friend) died 2 years ago and im making them a canvas print with a pic of them both with her, anyway I want to put some writing in it as well, like a poem or a saying basically talking about the eternal bond between parents and a child , love never dying no matter what , that sort of thing .
But im having real trouble finding anything ...has anyone got any ideas of what I can say ? or where I can find stuff to inspire me ?
helen steiner rice did lots of poems about mothers... this is prob her most well known. Maybe you could do something with that?
A Mother's Love
A Mother's love is something
that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may

or take that love away . . .
