It is tradition at OCS that on the 50th day to do the cadets pull a prank on a staff member (the OC told them this last night). Now they need an idea of what to do. They did have the idea of digging a gun pit in on of the staff's front lawn and manning it for the night and in the morning battle him. A good idea but hard work and they can't really dig up the lawn. So anyone have any good ideas??
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
Does the staff member in question have an office? Can they wrap everything in newspaper/tin foil? We did the newspaper trick to our boss....it was great!
Becks - on Core days down here, each Core parades around with their equipment. The fire brigade went around blasting everyone with their hoses, and the infantry set up at 5am one morning on the training field and shot the machine guns. Then they manned the gates at work and had guns pointed at the cars (not loaded obviously) and 'asked' for donations to get into work. So usually something that annoys people and inconveniences them seems to be a hit with army guys!
I asked my DH and he suggested breaking into the staff's office and setting it all up exactly as it was but on the lawn or parade ground - or preferably a roof if you can find a flat enough one!
Sneaking red food colouring into the fabric softener dispenser of the washing machine he does his uniforms in? Works better for Navy guys I guess, they look so pretty in pink.
there was a fantastic prank when I was at Massey Uni - some students built a replica speed camera and set it up in the 30km zone - everyone slowed down, but it flashed anyway. The whole campus was cursing... hee hee
