This may be completely insane but I think taht my preg vitamins are making my feel sick. I had bad mornign sickness for like 5 weeks, and then it got heaps better, pretty much went away for 10 days. At this stage I switched from my plain folic acid tablet to Elivit as I saw it on tv and thought it looked good. From about then I have been feeling sick again, but I didnt make the connection until saturday when I accidentally forgot to take my tablet and woke up feeling great on sunday. Then last ngiht i took it again and this mornign I am queesy again.
Honestly if I was someone listening to me I would think I was crazy, how can vitamins make you feel sick? Is it even possible, it just seems wierd that my sickness started up again when I started taking these...? anyone else had the same thing?

   Hi There,
I had the exact same thing while taking Elivit. I went back to my normal folic acid and I was fine. My midwife put me onto Pregavit after that and I was fine on that. I am not sure what brand it is but your midwife will probably be able to tell you.

I had to stop taking Preggy vitamins too as they made me vom even more than I usually did. Don't take them if they make you feel bad. And you can stop the folic acid soon too - only need to take that til 12 weeks I think.

I switched to elevit and am fine on it, but I am sure pregnacare made me feel sick, unless I was incredibly full of food before I took it. Perhaps your body just doesn't like something that is in them
