Hi there,
I've just had miscarriage number 3. I've been diagnosed with PCOS in the past but after miscarriage #2 blood work didn't show that as a problem but APS (blood clotting). Now after miscarriage number 3, I am off for more blood tests for chromosome checking. The doctor has also mentioned the possibility of progesterone support for any further pregnancy. Anyone know what this entails??

Hi travelbug, , Im really sorry you have miscarried again. I have the same problem and have been diagnosed with recurrent miscarriages and I also have pcos on one ovary.

Anyhow my specialist has put me on low dose aspirin and also once I get pregnant again I have to also use the progesterone pessaries. Im not too sure how many a day but I think they are pessaries which have to be inserted up ya fufu I know sounds lovely A but lol I will do whatever it takes to hold a pregnancy.

I was on the progesterone pessaries, 2 tabs 3 times a day. They are a bit messy but not really anything to worry about using.

There i another thread somewhere about them, i will try and find and bump for you.

I took the progesterone from the day after ovulation until week 9/10, then weaned myself off them. I think they cost $29 for a box which lasted me 5 days.

I'm a little late replying, but I took them until about week 10, so 6 weeks total from memory - 1 pessary 3 times a day. I think one of the other threads has how much I paid - might have been around $33 a box??? They aren't pleasant, but they worked for me. I was on low dose aspirin as well, and 5mg folic acid.
