Ok so it's a weird post, but since yesterday - wheni discovered it, i have had a numb foot on the outer half of my right foot. it's not completely numb, it's like that feeling after you've had a dead leg, then the feeling starts coming back and you have the tingly weird sensation that if you touch it you can feel it in a tingly kinda way but not full sensation.

Has anyone ever had this, it's weird and freaking me out. At first i thought maybe it was how i slept that day or something, but i have no idea what's going on, it goes from the top of my ankle on that side to the little toe and across half my foot. I wonder if i've pinched a nerve somewhere or something. If it continues i'm going to the docs. It's starting to really annoy me!

any ideas?

I had that for about a year or so on and off but right up my calf. I used to notice it the most when I shaved my legs and it was all numb and tingly, LOL

Haven't noticed it for ages actually and never got it checked out... I'm too slack, lucky my leg didn't fall off or something...

Yeah i wasn't too sure either way, i did wonder about blood flow though cos since starting work my legs have gotten far worse - i have granny legs with really bad veins now. Still there, no worse no better, no spreading but annoying, mike just accidentally stood on my foot and i felt pressure but no pain. I was like "I think you're standing on me?" I had periods a while back where i'd get warm feelings up from my ankles up to my knee, like i all of a sudden stood near a heater or something it was like heat travelling up my legs.. Weird weird weird.

Definitley sounds like nerve, with it being various sensation problems. If its not changing I would wait a few days and see what happens. Get it checked if it spreads, or goes to the other side as well. It could just be with the heat and work on your feet, swelling etc... Hope it goes away soon.

Thanks Aimee.   It started after a night shift the other night, i woke up after sleeping through the day and it was like it. Now when i do night shifts i usually go into a weird sleep - like a paralysing sleep through that day anyway, but this just kinda stayed that way. lol. at lunchtime i woke to hear ayja crying and was fully aware of what was going on there and could hear it, but couldn't move or feel any part of my body. Night shifts absolutely exhaust me.
