this dirves me crazy, as hu8bby WILL NOT use initiative. sometimes in the morning, I'll sleep in, but when i come out, kids are watching tv, dishes everywhere, they've been fed and clothed, but curtains still closed, and hubby is ON THE COMPUTER PLAYING GAMES!!!!! really annoys me - can you tell?
he WILL do things I ask, HOWEVER rarely cleans up after himself *re: washing, rarely does dishes, and won't see things and do it without being asked. oooooh, now I'm angry!

We do the whole he earns the money, I take care of the house, thing.  Hubby takes care of things outdoors though - does the lawns and grows veges for us.  I do every bit of cleaning.  He cooked dinners for about 2 months after Ella arrived, as I literally couldn't because of her feeding issues for the first month, then I was just too flippin busy with her then for the second.  But I'm back to being the cook now.  This all works really well for us - the only thing I'd change is I want the man to PULL FINGER AND HELP WITH THE DISHES!!!  That one really pis$es me off.  Mine's not your garden variety 'does what he's asked to do' hubby... he's the more stubborn type that asking doesn't effect so much.

oh yeah - and he gushes over Ella when he gets home, then says a quick hello to me!!  He isn't great with nappies, but he showers Ella each night, and now gives her her one bottle for the day, which is really nice for all of us.  And the way our relationship works, we both know that I'll always get all the housework, so I just don't plan to go back to full-time work ever again!  I'll go part-time when the timing's right - rather have less money and more sanity.

Yes Stacey we do vacume every day...occationally I cheat and dont accume if it is really clean. But because Zaara is crawling around the house, we prefere that she does not pick things up from the dirty floor!

Like I said, we are both a bit of clean freak!! Hubby more so than me!
