Renee is up and walking around today and she's feeling really good 
Sam is having a few problems with feeding and is getting frustrated but Renee said that they are both trying hard to get the hang of it

Great to hear Anna. I am planning to go and visit her on Friday and I cant wait to see little Sam.
Hopefully they will get the feeding sorted out soon.
I was kinda hoping there would be piccys, oh well will have to get some when I visit.

i'm glad renee is feeling ok and is up and about. i'm sure sam will get the hang of feeding really soon. at least they are both in the best place to get help

Yay for Renee, she's doing well to be walking this early IMO, and hopefully she is up to staying in hospital (where the nurses are) until the feeding is properly sorted. Nothing worse than cracked nipples! (Well there is, but...)

Hey everyone. Thank you all for your support and kind words. Sam is asleep at the moment.
He is such a good baby! Very loud screamer but only screams when he is hungry.
We got home this afternoon. My c-section went well. Was very very sore on tuesday and wednesday (had a bit of a bleeding drama, but will elaborate on that when I have a bit more time) Got up and about walking on wednesday and have been gradually getting better and better since then! I feel great today, just a wee bit tired.
Sam is having problems feeding as he is a very impatient little boy and when he wants to be fed, he wants it right NOW, and when it doesn't come right NOW, his hands start flailing about and he goes bright red and screams, which makes it difficult to latch him. And add that to flattish nipples, you can imagine it being a bit of a difficult process. We have a system going that works though that involves a nipple shield and then expressing when it gets too sore.
Will post a more detailed story and more pictures soon, as visitors GALORE!
Hope you all had a good week and I look forward to catching up on all the news.
Oh and thank you very much to gandt and glow for posting the pictures I sent, and to Emma and Anna for the lovely visit and present.
Sam says hello too!
