I am looking at getting the lounge and hallway cleaned before bubs #3 arrived (in 4 weeks) but don't want to fork out big dollars on a commercial clean.
So has anyone tried this?
What did you think?
Also, does the carpet take long to dry?
We have, the water comes out looking revolting so it must do a bit of cleaning. It got some stains out of the carpet but not all. Ours is usually dry in a day but it depends how many times you go over it.
Works great and as kebakat said the water is brown when you're finished and same with the stains. If you have a dehumdifier you can dry the carpet quicker. My mum used a company and it wasn't anywhere near as pricey as I would have thought.
I use one everytime I have moved house!! Is great, and not hard to operate....last time we moved I was 31 weeks pregnant and did the whole house myself...including the edges with the extra attachment thingy.
It can make your house smell a bit funky for a bit (usually until the carpet is dry) but it does a good job on getting them clean. Older more stubborn stains and high traffic areas don't always come out, but do improve!!
We've used one heaps of times and plan on using it again this weekend in the bedrooms/hallway (living room was not long done)... It's amazing the difference it makes!!
I don't bother with their soaps though, we just use wool wash, which I find leaves everything smelling a lot nicer, and seems to clean just as well!
