Hi Emmecat glad to hear your scan showed your healthy strong bubba is happy and growing in there. I know it can be an awful feeling everytime you see the spotting and/or bleeding but just remember to keep your chin up and keep thinking positive thoughts - sometimes it just happens and no one can tell us why when we have a healthy little bubba swimming about and not troubled by what's going on at all

Hi ladies
Thanks for all your reassurring words, it's wicked to have such support!
I am still spotting dark brown now and then but am much less worried now I've had 2 scans and seen the heartbeat. I also got my HCG test results back from Wed when I would've been about 7wks, 4days......over 79,000!! No wonder I'm feeling sick lol. Midwife is very happy!
Will keep you all informed as to how things go....

Arrgh since I wrote that last post this *$%^# spotting is *still* here!
I know I"ve had 2 scans now but I"m juststill a bit worried....it almost seems like a brownish discharge (sorry TMI!!) rtaher than blood as such. I hope that's not bad news! Also haven't thrown up the last two days although have felt like crap and still ultra tired, sore-ish boobs ect...so my other pg signs are still here. Sigh.
Anyone know why I might be having this browny tinged discharge?!

maybe it's just the way things are going to go with this pregnancy hun.......for alot of ladies, this doesn't stop until bubs is out
try not to stress, it will do you no good......as i'm sure you already know and will stress anyway
hang in there hun.....are you having anymore HCG tests?

As for MS...it has its days...I use to chuck every several days and the rest of the time I would feel like crap...so it sounds normal to me.
You might have this discharge for weeks....if there is a pocket of blood there it will clear gradually...I had a huge pocket of blood on top of my placenta with DD and it cleared after 28 weeks. Mind you mine was like red blood....
When I had my show (in labour)...sorry TMI but ot was totally brownish because apparently due to my bleeds and discharge.
I am just saying this because I want you to stop worrying...STOP!! You and BUB are fine! Your last scan has dropped the % of having MC to like 3%.
I know its hard not to worry but just relax and enjoy the fact that you have a very happy baby with a strong heartbeat in there.
