We have almighty struggles getting the losec down (it's usually done in two 1.5ml doses just before bed) but it seems to work. It reduces stomach acid so my doc said it could take 4 or 5 days to work well, and then 4 to 5 days to wean from.

We are using the granule....sooooo easy compared to the suspension.

I do actually wonder if she is just so overtired that she doesn't know what to do with herself by the evening.   However, you do need to eliminate possible pain as a factor I guess.

Also...it takes at least 3 days, if not 2 weeks to see effects from Losec so hopefully you'll see some change in a few days if it is reflux.

It has taken me a while to come to the conclusion that it is not just simply being tired or just doesn't want to be away from me. There is a lot of kicking and crying in her sleep too. She reacts to me rubbing her tummy and will stop when she is rocked for a minute or so.
We gave her 2mls via bottle at 3pm, and 1ml just beofre her bottle at 6pm.
We then kept her up and gave a bath (usually before bottle) and read a book. No cries...and straight to sleep. Bliss!
