Sex is fine during pregnancy, provided it's not super rough, you are in the mood, and not feeling like utter sh*t.

Yes, perfectly safe! I've never heard that it's not! But I certainly DID NOT feel up to it in the first 4 mths due to MS.

Hmm, but maybe if you're looking at an excuse to not do it, tell your partner it's not safe.

Actually it has just come to mind that if you've suffered bleeding in the first 12 weeks to hold off from it.

Poor old Willie is missing out again, he went the entire pregnancy with the gremlins coz by the time I felt even remotely well enough around 25 weeks I had bleeding so it was a no go, this time I keep promising him but so far have managed to avoid it, I just feel too icky.

Gosh poor Willy, the whole pregnancy thats a pretty long time but I'm sure he was okay since it was for his lil sweethearts but crumbs thats a long time!

I havent felt like it much I must say but its definately safe as long as no bleeding is what I have been told and having DH home on holiday at the moment has been good as usually by bed time I'm shattered and its the last thing on my mind but it doesnt seem such a 'chore' after a decent sleep in!

Poor DH I told him rumours were that I'd get really horny when I came off the pill, that didnt really happen and then when we decided we'd give the baby making a whirl he was looking forward to days of rampant BDing each month but nope got preggers the next day pretty much, he is now asking if there is a horny time during pregnancy as a last ditch hope before the baby comes and its the last thing either of us are thinking about!

I just cant be stuffed half the time to fool around or have sex, but tried the other night and it hurt like hell, like stining and really uncomfy so I wont be trying it again for a while, poor DF, but he said he doesnt want to do it if it hurts me or the baby so I feel better about not doing it now.

But yeah its totally safe to have sex, you just have to figure out what position is most comfy for you.

I had bleeding and was told to continue life including sex like normal, the bleeding was from the sex due to having a sensitive cervix and is really common and very safe!
Your cervix is quite soft and low in the beginning, if you are hruting it should go away in the second tri....but who's normal

I had bleeding each time at the begining and was told to abstain. If you OK and there is no bleeding than sex will be OK I'm sure.
As for hurting, maybe try different positions
