I missed the whole thing too, but what I'm most interested in is how did everyone find out she was lying? Did she admit to it or something?
ETA: Never mind.. I see that she was dobbed in by the sister in law.
Yikes, that's just...wow...

It's a sad thing to do but I've seen things like this (making stories up) happen on many forums/message boards. But really, why make such a huge song and dance over it when it's obvious attention is what they seak? I've thought about putting this up and then not, but really isnt the smartest thing to do is just ignore it and move on rather than fueling the attention

I agree with not giving it all too much attention but I really don't understand how someone could lie about something as big as that. It has really upset me, I lost my twin boys at 20 weeks, and I would not wish it on anyone. She must have some major issues to deal with, but like others I don't think here is the place

I wondered why her post was removed. What a low thing to do, I can not believe she'd made it all up

I think she has got what she came for and will move on to some other lovely forum to prey on and take advantage of the nice caring and supportive members. Everything that people have written is not giving her more attention but letting people get their anger off their chest. JMHO

i already knew she was a immature lying little witch from personal experience.
im completly and utterly shocked that she did that tho.
i just hope that the people she used to work with know or find out, as i know i wouldnt want my children being looked after by someone so mentaly unstable.

Was she really just lying? Because I know there is a disorder where you can be convinced that you are pregnant, even when people tell you that you aren't (including when told by health professionals). It can start out as a lie but then you convince yourself that it's the truth and you actually believe it. I can't remember what the disorder is called though. It can get so extreme that your body can believe you are pregnant and you can get pregnancy symptoms and weight gain etc. Is there any chance she had this?
Either way, it's really sad.

I was so upset for her when I read the post.
Later I showed it to DH (who may be a better judge of character than I am) and he told me he thought it was bollocks and if not then she is a very silly girl who put her *imaginary* babies in danger. At the time I thought he was being harsh but as it turns out he was absolutely right (about her being a silly girl).
06baby, I'm really sorry for what she has put you and your family through esp your brother.

Sorry BS but I don't agree with locking the threads. This woman hurt and deceived alot of people. They should be allowed to vent their frustrations. There needs to be an outlet for everyone.
If Admin feel that they need to lock the threads then so be it.
JMHO.

WHOA I go away for a few days and come back to find exactly what i was thinking.
The whole thing about that claire girl just didn't seem right and when she posted about loosing them some time earlier in the preg, i thought "nah that doesn't add up, twin pregs are overly overly monitored, she'd have had a million scans, if she'd lost them, she'd have foiund out before now"
freaky weird chick.
I am angry that i felt so bad for reading her post in the life after loss area and thinking "that's got to be bollocks" and convincing myself that i was being horrible when really i was spot on in my intuitions.
Hhhm, and people sometimes wonder why the ones that have been around on here for ages are a little wary sometimes of newbies (no offence, cos like 99% of you are a wonderful addition to our community).
Ick.

gosh I missed it all too, well the poor girl certainly has a weird way of getting attention, I thought it seemed a bit strange for them both to die too
