Topic: She Starts On Monday.. Posted: 10 October 2008 at 6:10pm |
Kylah starts daycare on monday!
Im freaking out a little. I know she will be fine, She loves the teachers they are lovely, she normally hates new people but she didnt have a problem today.
She played in the sandpit, pulled all the toys off the shelves and done some painting. It was open day today.
Theres only 3 nursery kids enrolled for next week, as the centre is brand new, so she has a teacher to herself lol. Theres 4 nursery teachers! They even cook her lunch!
Guess im just reassuring myself she will be ok..

Awwwww poor Mummy it's so hard to leave kids at DC but I'm pretty sure it's worse for Mum and than it is for the child.
Alyssa started at about 14 months and she settled in with no hassles, me on the other hand felt so bad and I think it actually made me feel a bit stink that she didn't miss me as much as I thought she would
Now she asks to go in the weekend (we must be soooo boring at home )

I'm sure she will really enjoy it, and a brand new centre - wow, lots of new equipment and activities!
Hope you will be feeling ok on Monday, it is often harder for mums than the children.
