Its awful here now (central Auckland)....really really wet and really windy. The wind is freezing too. Its here to stay for a while by the look of things! PIA as I had stuff I needed to do this afternoon!!!

It hit just as I was walking out of kindy...so glad my other 2 are off school sick as it is crap out there...
DH rang to say he is going out after work...he works about 15mis away on a straight road but now he is heading off on the motorway to see a relative...not impressed...

We had a bit of rain just before in Palmy and now it is very windy and sunny.

beautiful sunny this morning, windy and cold at lunch, sunny for another hour, wind picking up again and just heard some rain hit... but looks like the sun is coming back grrrrr. PICK ONE! but i hope its not crappy at 5. have to go pick up DP from work.

lightning and thunder now. Storms not far off RAIN Whoop whoop! Might get DD to sleep in our bed if she will just for the snuggle factor as DPs at work! Hope its stopped by 3am when he's driving home

Sounds like what we had this morning... it's been pretty calm since late arvo since with light raining. Hopefully it's the same for you and passes soon

Its pretty bad here. At about 6pm it just suddenly went nuts and the wind was insane, then it hailed and we had forked lightening, it was very scary!
Then after 10 mins it was calmer again.
Its been really windy and raining ever since then though, and Im guessing it will flair up again during the night.
Im going to bring DS into our bed tonight! DD is in our room already.

I looked at the rain forecast and it says its going to lighten up before 3am, although DP may be earlier then that who knows. MIght suggest he doesn't drive along the waterfront home from work.
Its very windy out there, I think it sounds worse then it is I ran out to the car earlier and aside from my toes being cold as I had no shoes and socks on hehe it didn't feel that bad. (But then I am sitting here in a singlet lol)
SIL is driving to Maraetai and is freaking out abit I think! Infact she should be home by now wonder if she's text mum yet or not.

was quite grotty here in Hawkes Bay last night and over night, lots of howling wind and rain and a fresh dumping of snow on the hills so it is cold this morning, hopefully that was the worst of it!

Wow we seemed to miss most if it in the middle here in Nelson, just had heavy rain on and off for the past 2 days, lovely and sunny outside now, a bit of wind, perfect day! Hope everyone else was all good
