Just wondering how to sterilise an ice cube tray as obviously it won't fit in the avent steriliser I have. Can I put it in a pot of boiling water? If so, for how long?
 TIA

Pretty sure our dishwasher wouldn't sterilse anything, only clean it. I assume it would need to get to 100 degrees (boiling temp) to sterilise. Tried it this morning in a pot. Took forever to boil a massive pot of water just to sterilise two ice cube trays so if any one has any better suggestions please let me know.

You can buy the sterilising tablets - just put a couple of tablets in a big container of water and it stays sterile for 24hrs. Just from the baby section at the supermarket      The common brand is Milton but I think you can get cheaper ones aswell.

And if you want to do the boiling water one. Boil water in kettle and then put in pot and you can put it on the stove or use it just like that.
