    Posted: 28 June 2007 at 12:26pm

Oh yes I was rude enough to put that all in capitals because I want people to read this one!  (for those like me who open up about 3 topics a week).

STUFF YOU'VE WANTED TO SAY TO PEOPLE ON HERE

no, it's not juicy, it's mushy.  Positive stuff only please, someone can open up a ranty topic if they wana do that instead!  (he he he - now that would be good reading! ).  Please don't be sad if you're not listed in here after lots of people have replied... it's not a popularity contest, I just think that sometimes there's things that need to be said that build people up, and it's worth saying them even though that means you haven't said something nice to all the other people - know what I mean?  Please add your own things - they could be to someone you know really well or have never met and might have even only read a few posts from, but there are just some people who stick in your mind for whatever reason, and you think - if I could tell them one thing about themselves, it'd be...

Kellverona - I think that some women blossom into motherhood, and you are one of those women.  Jaxon is lucky to have you for a mummy.

Emma  (Maya) - you impress me.

Nikkiwhyte - I love your honesty.

Janine (Mum2Paris) - I don't know how you do it!  And BTW, all mums know that their children are the most beautiful in the world, but you really can believe everyone who tells you that your two are absolute stunners!

Emeldee - your sense of humour rocks, and I love your whole approach to life!

(edited to fix spelling)

Hmmm...everyone on here is pretty fabulous, but I know what you mean about people sticking in your mind. A few from me:

Nikkiwhyte: I always click on a post when I see you've replied, because you have such an interesting, thoughtful and funny take on life. I think you are one of a kind and doing such a great job with Hannah - she's so gorgeous!

NeeandSam: It makes me smile to see you doing so well with your little man, you have such a great attitude and he's lucky to have you as his mum.

Maya: I am in awe of how much you pack in to your life, you are an inspiration!

Kels: You are such a lovely person, I know I don't know you very well, but always enjoy reading your posts.

ErinsMama: Erin is such a cutie and you often make me smile with your posts.

Kellz: You have fantastic taste in baby names! and it was lovely to meet you at the Hamilton meet up.

KH25: Ashleigh is just gorgeous and I am in awe of you for your strength throughout her early arrival. It's nice to know someone so nice lives nearby, even if we haven't caught up yet!

RubyDooby: Go the Hamilton Massive! Again, even though we only met briefly at the Waikato meet up it's nice to know you are one of the lovely ladies who are local to me. Have enjoyed our chats online so far and look forward to getting to know you and Brenna better.

Warmfuzzies everyone! You are all cool, thanks for collectively making Oh Baby such a welcoming place!

Aw

Gandt: I think you are a very wise woman

Aimeejoy: You are so cute!

Lizzle: Get back down to Welly... we need another gossip session.

Melln: You are a brave chicko (actually - this is for all the single mamas on here. You are all doing such a great job!)

Ginger: You also = brave. And hilarious. I love how generous you are!

AlyAyde: You've been through a lot with Jadey kid when she was first born and I just wanna say - your girls have turned out lovely and you've done really well to get through all that and remain calm

Anna: You are a sweety and I always laugh at your posts (except the ones that involve vomiting - I promise!)

And to those who helped me through my paternity crap: I'm just reading the thread now and thinking how wonderful you all are for being there for me when I had no one else - Vick, Emma, Deborah, Ana, Roksana, Liz, Maria, Janine, Anna, Amy, Jen, Becs.

Newmum: I quite miss you! And I have wanted to say for ages (now I'm out the other side) thank you so much for looking after me when I was going through the crap at the start of last year - couldn't have asked for a better friend!

Jacobsmama: If I were going to get drunk one night, you'd be my drinking partner

Jack&Charli and My2angels: I can't wait until I can get down to CHCH and meet ya both!

Maya: What everyone else said!

Busymum: You are doing so well with 3 little ones, a pretty decent hubby, and remaining sane enough to crack a joke in virtually every post you make.

Ahhh too many people to admire!!

Emeldee, Neeandsam, Lyla and now Sterryn: Just wanna say you guys make me laugh

Peace: I admire your passion and love your geekiness - I'm a closet ex-IRC geek

Becca: Heart of gold

And Andie!: You are always really positive, love it. And you make me laugh quite often too!

Miss: I'd have loved to have you as a teacher when I was younger

Caramel: Have to second whoever said you have gorgeous children!

Paws: I love that you are so supportive and accepting of all of us! (No matter our faults I also love to see that you got Maddie at the end of your TTC journey.

TwoBlondinis: You are another one of those smiley people who makes me smile

Kirst: I love Ash's dark beautiful hair and her cute smile. She's cute and chubby like Hannah used to be! I wish I could cuddle her in person hehe

Ella: Liz reminded me... you are a cutie and I'm glad there are young mamas out there like you doing us proud

Kaz: I love how much you love your family. I only wish when I marry I love my hubby as much as you love Kent!

The men: You guys are awesome for coming on here and making posts among our talks about lack of sex drive and PMT. Refreshing. Hopefully you learn stuff about the womenfolk along the way (useful stuff... not just the gross stuff )

SMoody: You've made me an extended breastfeeding convert... so my next child *couIFEVERgh* will have you to thank for that!

Leish: You are another one whose little family story I love. Your family is gorgeous - and Christopher sounds like he is turning into the loveliest young man.

OK, I don't know many of the TTC ladies but...
Bumblefoot: You are such a positive chicky! Very impressed and I hope you get your BFP very soon.

Deb: You are such a cute little mama... hope you get the million kids you'd like. (That wasn't sarcasm! I promise! Though it was hyperbole)

Becks: I think about you when I need to get off my butt and study. Unfortunately it doesn't make me do it! But I think you are fab for studying through your pregnancy when it wasn't all that fun.

Awwww I got two mentions! I feel so special! Thank you guys so much. It really means a lot to feel like I am doing a good job as to be honest I was never a very maternal person and having a baby really scared the crap outta me. Now that he's here, I just love him so so so much and could not imagine my life without him.

So thank you!

Ok my turn.

Maya You are so incredible! I admire you so much as a mother and an extremely talented writer (My biggest aspiration in life is to write). And at the Hamilton meetup when you told me Maya was named after Maya Angelou and I think I gave you a blank stare and then for ages afterwards I felt really ignorant and stupid because I didn't say 'Oh, that's awesome, one of my favourite singers names Maya Angelou as one of her biggest influences, so I can see why you would name your daughter after her as she is an amazing writer). But I didn't say it, and felt stupid. That probably didn't make any sense at all, but it kept playing on my mind, so I had to get it off my chest!

caraMel Your two children are SOOOOO beautiful, and you always make me smile with your posts. You always have a kind word for everyone!

Gandt Before I met you I thought 'Man that woman is strong, she tells it like it is!' Then I met you in person and I thought you were so lovely and friendly and welcoming to some of the shy girls that were there!' And your two boys are so adorable! I am glad that I am a part of this website/forum as I will be able to hear/read all about the new addition to your family!

Oh and I can't forget Busymum! I love how honest you are when it comes to advice about anything from babies to pregnancy and life. You always have something constructive yet caring to share with us newbie mothers and I really appreciate your wisdom!

These are the ones that spring to mind at the moment, but you know all the mothers and mothers to be on OHbaby are just awesome!

Oh boy, where to start....?

Emma - it's always fun to see what you have to say [font=1](especially in the rampant consumerism thread, you don't have a saving bone in your body!!! )

Peace - we really got off badly to start with but I've grown to like you. And your charting experience has been great too.

Nikkiwhyte - you're a heap of fun and I saved your PM telling me to "shoosh" for aaaaaaages because it cracked me up every time! LMAO

CaraMel - I always remember how generous you were with the baby bath and "rocket", we still use the rocker and the baby bath is stored for next time Actually that just reminded me of who I could lend it to, she's due next week!

Ginger - I love your wit!! But I also really love how you have been waiting TTC for such an awfully long time and even though it gets you down, you can totally say to someone congrats when they get pg.

Bombshell and Ginger - I feel that we're somehow connected cause we've all worked in the same field. How dumb is that! But I do enjoy "hanging out" with you. (BS read that as "following each other around when everyone else has gone to bed" )

Bumblefoot, Noodle, and everyone else in an extended TTC time - I really feel for you and watch your progress (and sometimes just wait for it ) with caring anticipation.

Janine - I'm glad we have girls the same age and live in the same city. It's a pain you had to move and we couldn't go for a walk together after all but never mind.

Luana (James' mum) - thanks Although it's really only 3 under 4

Aimeejoy and Toni - thanks for the awesome FB deal (they finally arrived today Toni )

rug_nz - you always jump in with two feet (and in muddy puddles!) but it sure makes for entertaining reading!

Claire (Redbedrock) - thanks for keeping me company in my recent pregnancy, even though your little girl wanted to meet 2006

Oh boy... there's so many! Now I feel bad that someone hasn't come to mind right away!

AnnC - taking one kid to London nearly sent me to the looney bin, congrats on being brave enough to do it with three, and survive!

Lu - the little hats you sent the gremlins are in their Memory Box, it was such a sweet thing for you to do and I'll never forget it, it made my day when they arrived, and they helped me to tell the gremlins apart when they were tiny

Vick and Robyn For your honesty in admitting that things aren't always easy and making me feel like I'm not so crazy after all.

My Auckland coffee ladies Oh to escape the kids every couple of weeks for a night of cake and brownie! [;)

nikki - for being the one to jinx me by asking if I was pregnant when I casually asked when people got their periods back after having babies - as it had been 8 months and no periods

Janine - for helping to destress re:above! and for having very distinctive girls so I can recognise you in the street and not feel bad having maybe snobbed you

Aimeejoy - for chatting to me at the very first Palmerston ladies meet up at Lollipops - BTW my mum thought you were lovely and asked about you every so often!

Roksana - for letting me ask dumb Muslim questions, and not feeling too stupid while I did it - among other things

Ana - for talking to my japanese friend lots when I brought her to our mett-up and making her feel really welcome.

Pepsi - I think it is so cool that you are part japanese. i love japan. (i've got the right person right?)

gandt - whenver you show another photo of your boys in mischief I curse you, and thikn dear god, that will be mine next. I'm hoping I cope as well as you.

Emma - just for being you

Maria - I love your girls hair! have said so so many times. AND i love that you gave Alyssa that flight for her birthday - coolest present EVER

Lu - you and your sister are such a crack up! I love little Jame and Hemi

Ella - Mikey is such a cutie, you and your sis are such sweethearts too.

Ginger - for helping me understand what my friends are going through.   everytiome I go to say "your time will come" or "just relax" I stop, and remember some thing you wrote about some kinda punching....and I stop.

Annie - i too am a rock chick at heart, but have finally faced my untimely departure from the school of rock, and realise my singing will remain in the shower, not on stage. And you have good taste in names (jacob is near enough ey!)

vick and lou - for explaining your various problems and being so brave doing so. it has really helped me understand what people go through and made me more understanding I think

chovynz, rugnz, bsdh - for the male point of view - sometimes appreciated!

jake&charli - no reason to write really....just wanted you to see your name and know someone was thinking of you.

I'm so about to finish this and go "d'oh, forgot...." I will be back I'm sure!
