We got a letter from WINZ yesterday telling us that their WFF records show that we are eligible for a community services card. It totally made my day as we've been sitting just over the threshold for the last few years. It will make such a difference not having to worry about whether we can afford to go to the Dr!

I finally got payment from a lady who won a TM auction weeks ago and has been draaaaaging out communication. It was such a relief putting that parcel in the post this morning!

I have leftover roast veges for lunch, and there are some good ones left! Not just potato and carrot!

Add your little smiles for the day

Yay Mel that is so cool for you guys.

Mine is that I got to talk to me friend who I haven't seen in almost 3 years for about an hour on the phone this morning.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

hmmm, lets see...

We have been shopping for a new house, and that has been a *little* stressful, especailly after my dreamhome was NOY hubbies, lol, so, instead of selling and buyign again we have decided to
put in a new kitchen and all the new shiny appliances to go in it! (yay)

Got My Sky HDI today, i wasn't convinced, but now I have just watched a movie on our giant 52 inch HD LCD, I am stoked with it...

And,so I don't sound material

Our garden is flourishing and I can't wait till we get our first pickings out of it

And it was our first wedding anniversary yesterday and my BFF brought us round aHUGE homemade banana cake. Yummo!

My 3 things for today are about my 3 kids!

Rico recieved an award at school yesterday, I don't know what on earth for, but he's doing so well at school it makes me so proud!  I saw all the pupils in his room returning to their class yesterday and he was the only one who had a certificate.

Gia has a little boy friend at kindy who came straight up to her when we arrived this morning and was tickling her & encouraging her to go and play with him.  It's so nice to see she is getting on so well at kindy.

And just a few hours ago, Jett stood up on his own - without any assistance!!

edited for grammar

Seeing my boy smiling again (even if just for a short period of time).

My DH got 97% in a test yesterday and is heading towards getting an award for a course he's on

We're finally getting the carpet organised from the insurance company so I don't have to worry about the terrible carpet much longer.'

It definitely is the little things that count, and usually the ones that cost nothing

I had a lady tell me at the supermarket today that my wee girl is precious

I picked up our whopping $23 lotto win and the lady behind the counter congratulated me as if I'd won big (That just made me laugh).

We got the bill for our kitchen/dining flooring and it was under quote by $200!

I get to go home in 20 mins and spend a few hours with my darling girl

We're getting new carpet on Thurs/Fri and since it's a rental property it won't cost us anything (except the inconvenience).

I saw DH briefly at lunchtime (when he was on his way to work) and he told me I look pretty today

I was feeling really sick this morning (and I looked it too apparently) when I dropped Nyah off at school, a couple of the mums offered to pick Nyah up for me after school so I didn't have to leave the house.

Conor got his Academic badge yesterday for German and Computers. So he gets to wear it on his shirt everyday he goes to school.

Cooper is being so wonderful at the moment and trying so hard to communicate to me.

Our trip to Fiji is just about finalised.

The little monster is still sleeping - two hours after I put him down. That NEVER happens!

I have therefore finished packing for our holiday tomorrow!

I took Rowan to the beach today by myself - which doesn't sound like anything until I tell you that I drove there as I got my restricted yesterday.
