I have hit 36 weeks and once again i'm heading down the pre eclampsia road again .  I have swollen up so bad that it hurts to walk and type (not going to be long) and really do anything. My BP is up (well only the bottom one) its sitting 130/95 - i'm not impressed. And to top it off my bloods I had taken on Friday don't show good signs. I have to go back to my MW tomorrow to be assessed again and she thinks that i'll be up at the day unit on Friday to be monitered over a few hours with the likelyhood of me being admited. The only good side I can see to all of this is i'll get him out of me early. My MW thinks that an induction now would be a good idea due to past history. So I won't be around much for the next few days (at least) as I am trying to rest with my feet up (and how do you do this with one very active 2 year old boy?????) to stop my feet hurting.

The good news is that you will have a January baby But as for Andrew... well after you see your mw tomorrow hopefully a decision can be made about that with DH? If you end up admitted, or even on bedrest at home, he ought to be able to take sick leave to look after Andrew (if not you )

Aw hugs. That does not sound nice (and is a worry of mine with high normal BP even before pregnancy!)

i don't think I can say anything to make it better, just know that we are all thinking of you and sending positive vibes for whatever outcome.

Andrew is only home on Wednesday's from daycare so it was only today that I had to worry about. He let me have a sleep today (for about 2 hours, I hate to know what he got up to during that 2 hours), which was nice and let me (well mostly) stay on the couch resting.

ah that sucks, but also hopefully bubs will be outta you soon. Am working friday morning, chuck a message down to neonates if you get admitted and i'll come see ya on saturday lunchtime if you're still there cos i'm working then too.. that place is boring enough when you have just had your baby, let alone waiting for it to come out. lol

I'm not going to stay if they just want to "bedrest" me. I can do that at home. I'm admited i'm being induced. This time its my rules . I will do that. i know it was so boring last time I had my FIL up there all the time and that made it worse. I'm going to get him banned from that area when i'm up there.

I said to them I can get rest at home blah blha but no.. that did not work. I must say though Id do what they say cos I had real bad complications in the end (after having Jaxon).Rest rest rest.

Take care and god luck.

Hugs

Oh hey Becks you need to ask for "Nurse" Janine... she fails to tell us in advance that there are three Janines in Neonates!

She told me on Saturday to make sure it is the "nurse" Janine that I want. I was told that if you got it in your first pregnancy more than likely you won't get it in any other. Looks like i'm one of the 30% that will get it in other pregnancies. I went and got my hair cut today (just incase), and something for him to come home in from the hospital.

That doesn't sound much like bedrest! Hope youa re taking it easy now to make up for your little excursion!

Hope your BPO stays stable and you can avoid being hospitalised, that would be yucky.

Well I saw my MW today and my BP is stable 150/80 so I get to stay at home (for now). I'm starting to get protein in my pee which isn't the best sign. So, I have to rest at home and i'm assessed again on Monday morning, and will be assessed every few days from there. MW doesn't want me going over my due date so will be making sure i'm induced earlyish if nothing serious happens between then and now. However when the protein starts it usually doesn't stop with me it just gets worse (well did last time) so I may get my wish and get him out of me a little earlier .

I have been resting since I went into town. I had always planned to get my hair cut today so I was going to get it done. It needed to be done and now it is so much easier to manage. I had about 15cms cut off , but it hadn't been cut in almost a year so it was due to be done. And I had to get him something nice to come home in and finally found something nice at PP.

YAY BP is stable enough for me to not to have to have daily visits so every 2 days or so now. Protein is still a little dodgy so we are keeping an eye on that now. But staying out of hospital unless an induction was to happen is my plan. But he is fully engaged so may not even go to term!!!

Well done you for managing to keep things quite stable. Sounds like he might be on his way sooner rather than later, which wouldn't be a bad thing! Long may your levels keep you out of hospital!
