Hi
My name is Ange and I am new to the site. In 2010 I had a little boy born through the incredible generosity of a friend who offered to be a gestational surrogate for me. It was an amazing journey to go on with another family and we feel incredibly fortunate to have our lovely boy!
I have a small uterus, unable to concieve or ever carry a baby. We still have four frozen embryos and am very hopeful that we can use them oneday... I am currently undergoing IVF to donate my eggs to a friend.
I am wandering if there is anyone else on this site who has had to have a surrogate help them have a child. I am also keen to discuss surrogacy with anyone who is potentially interested in being a surrogate
My personal email is hagler@surf.co.nz
Cheers
Ange

There is a Mum carrying a surrogate baby in our due Aug 2012 thread. Perhaps you would like to get in touch with her?

Hi Ange, I am also currently new to this site, as you were over a year ago now I see... We also had a little baby--a girl for us in 2009--born through the incredible generosity of a another person who was our egg donor. For us it was a very happy journey to go on with another family, and we too feel incredibly fortunate to have our lovely girl. In our case we have but one frozen embryo left, and we are in need of the help of a beyonnd-words generous gestational surrogate now as well, and are currently searching far and wide... So we too are keen to discuss surrogacy with anyone who is potentially interested in being a gestational surrogate to help our embryo to have a chance at life--that is if there are spare gestational surrogates to go around!

I would be really interested in finding a surrogate. How did you do this. My partner and I are a gay couple living in Palmy North we have foster children but would love to bring a baby into our family

Hi Rusty, we have yet to find a surrogate ourselves, but have you tried the NZ online surrogacy and support websites? As groups they are very experienced, knowledgable, friendly and helpful...

There is also another NZ surrogacy support site (in addition to 'nz surrogacy' and 'supporting journeys') that I have recently come across called 'eden community'...

Hi,
I wasn't sure where to post but I have used these boards before when I was pregnant.
We had a gorgeous baby girl in 2010 who sadly passed away after two hours. We then had our precious son in January 2012. He lived for two weeks before passing away. We were and still are devastated.
Both of our babies were IVF and we cannot take the risk again so are thinking about surrogacy.
I know it's a huge thing to ask of someone but we would love it if anyone was or knows anyone who would like to be a surrogate.
We would love to add a little one to our family :-)
Thanks so much.

Hi bikershaz, so sorry to hear of your unfathomably sad story in trying to build your family. My heart goes out to you. In surrogacy I understand that it is all about the match of the families involved, the match of the intending mother and the surrogate mother in particular. If you actively pursue this path--on the surrogacy sites mentioned above or even on parenting sites in general--I have no doubt that your journey will lead you to adding a little one to your family. There are indeed such beyond-words generous people... Very best of luck and love to you.

I believe that surrogucy is very helpful for some people! My friend was infertile for a long time, but her husbend wanted to have his own children. Its really like a miracle, when you can observe the happinnes of your native people... It was reaaly difficult for them, they spend a lot of time, but now, they are so happy! They decided to find an agency who can help them to make their dream come true. They are from USA and last year they came to Ukraine. They were worried about all the process, I mean documentation, payments, apartments and so on. But that agency helped them to do everything in the best way, and now thwy are happy parents of twins! Can you believe?! Its really so amazing! I wish everyone to feel this happyness of becoming parents. Surrogacy is a good varian for couples who cant have their own child. That agency calls VittoriaVita https://vittoriavita.com/, I really recommend it. I believe them as I know that they can help people and makes their dreams come true. If you want to try surrogacy, I wish you all the best and believe, everything will be fine!
