i've always thought about how i would tell dean i was preggers..long before we'd starting trying. i'd imagined this awesome romantic story...
well, we started trying (for jack) the night of our wedding 22 nov and i just couldn't wait to test so i did one the day before AF was due. it was negative. i was a little bummed but not surprised as i have endo and pcos, so we knew it may take a while for it to happen.
a week later i still hadn't got AF, it was xmas eve and we'd gone to the supermarket for last minute beer and wine and i thought i might as well do another test.
we got home and i ducked into the loo to do the test....dean was in the lounge with my parents and i yelled out to him to come into the bedroom....'in a minute' 'no, now i said' and then showed him the 2 lines.....'what does that mean?' 'we're pregnant dumbass' hehehe
i gave my parents a boxed of scorched almonds as an early xmas pressie that night 'to nana and grandad, from the feotus' needless to say, tears followed

this time, i waited 2 days after AF was due and had a feeling i was pregnant so did a test and it came up a very faint positive. was rather shocked as we'd only been trying for...2 weeks!!! i took my freakishly fertile body to the docs straight away for blood tests and he rang back later to say it was a very early positive. i left the test on dean's pillow, he came home from work and went to get changed...i heard this 'what!' from the bedroom, went in and he was grinning 'are we pregnant again?'   hehehe, he still didn't know what 2 lines meant
