Topic: thank you gift Posted: 16 April 2008 at 9:46pm |
I want to get a thank you gift for my mum and nana. basically while I studied and got my teaching diploma (which i graduate with in May), they babysat, picked up, dropped off, organised etc, and I want to say thanks. So any ideas what I could get? I was thinking about the massey grad bear - then saw it is $45 each, which i don't mind spending, just not on a stuffed toy

Make up a gift basket for each of them, with stuff that they will use?

Maybe a mall voucher so they can choose, petrol vouchers, photo done onto canvas, nice peice of jewellery, gift basket full of smellies, take them out to dinner, bottle of nice wine with a few chocies and lotto ticket, photo album, or one of those frogprints albums made by you?

I think that the grad bear is a great idea - mostly because it's special. They've helped you to become that bear as such
The grad photo idea is a good one too!!
