Ahhh hon. You know we'll save you a big plate of everything. The one thing about my new job is that I know, for the first time in years, that Xmas Day is 'safe'. Shiftwork is the pits.
And Red, did you ever think you wouldn't be making pav - you'd be lynched.

Haha is this about the work or the pav?
I'd take the morning shift. That way you're in routine from the previous day, not all over the show. Celebrate Christmas in the afternoon with afternoon tea and dinner! Go to a Christmas Eve (night) service. Once the morning is over you can lax out, ignore the time and drink as much as you want to without worrying about what's on your breath. That's what I'd do

Aw Paws - Last year i worked christmas eve, christmas day new years eve and new years day. The upside of this is that, (yes there is an upside) realistically it should mean that next year you should get it off when she is even bigger all the same. I did the start at 3pm shift on those days, and found it hard to whip away just as the girls were getting excited abouts anta coming and again just as they were actually starting to play with their toys. It is a nice day though as far as working goes no-one really expects you to do terribly too much!
