Gosh i feel horrible typing this but man do i sometimes get bored being at home with my baby!

i try to go for walks with her and the dog every day to get out of the house but there are those times when i am just not sure what to do to amuse her!

She is a cat napper during the day and it is unusual to get more than two 45 minute sleeps out of her in a day

So thoughts needed on things to do to keep occupied!

oOOooo I'd like to hear what others say too! Where in NZ are you Kaz? Maybe you could join a coffee group with other bored mums near you?!

i have a few things i do each time he is up. in the morning when he is up he plays under his play gym, does tummy time and then sits in his bouncer or sit propped up on tri pillows just looking around. when he is awake in the middle of the day we go walking and then i read to him for about 30 mins. when he is up in the evening he gets a bath, tummy time, a wee bit more time under his toys and has more stuff read to him. we are quite careful not to DO stuff all the time. we leave him to stare and look around all the time so he doesnt get used to being continuously stimulated. read books that are fun to you as well, im reading terry prachett colour of magic at the moment and its hilarious. not sure what else to say. im at uni in the afternoons but he is normally asleep during that time. i find that having study to do at home helps keep me to not go bonkers so maybe you could take up jewellery making or something while baby is asleep to keep you sane?

After making this post i have offered my time on a project that will keep me a little more occupied so hopefully the project goes ahead!
