He's been showing all the signs for months and months but no show??

Don't worry too much - my son was nearly 13 months when he got his first teeth. The later you get them the better as you keep your first set longer. DH was 12 months when he got his first teeth and he now still doesn't have any fillings.

My stepmum's niece didn't have any teeth until she was 2!
She was very late to get hers but they came in thick and fast after that and she now has a whole mouthful of them

My son never got his first tooth until 11 months and then had 12 within 7 months. I wouldn't worry it seems to be quite normal.

Yeah plunket etc say 6-12 months for first tooth, but Isla had 2 by 5 months and 12 by 12 months,...so I guess before 6 months or after 12 months must be normal too!

According to my plunket nurse, Elle started teething at 4.5mths but her first tooth didn't pop through until just over 11mths. She is now almost 18mths and has 12 teeth so they've come through pretty quickly since 11mths.

I can't remember but the gremlins must have been about 10 months or so coz Mercedes got hers at the same time as Elle and she's a few weeks younger. They weren't early that's for sure, and they are still pretty gummy.
