egg maternity is great, that's where I bought most of my stuff. Pumpkin Patch has nice stuff. Apparently Warehouse has stuff and I also saw some at Kmart I think....

Egg can be expensive if you don't go during a sale, *but* their clothes are very nice. I can't really say though because I was lucky enough to get all of my maternity clothes overseas (except for one dress). I don't know where abouts you live, but there is a Pumpkin Patch at Dressmart in Otahuhu and things may be cheaper there. Good luck !

i am starting to get to the stage where i need to invest in some maternity clothes too.... my mum has brought me a few nice tops (from punky patch and jk...) and my sis got me some jeans from jk,

just going to thread jack here..... and ask everyone what maternity jeans (dont have to have the brand name... more the kind of style) that you would recommend... there are some that go up high on belly, underneath etc.... i have ones that are high up from sis, and at mo are not flattering as my bump isnt hard yet!

I had some JK ones with the elastic tummy bit, but found once I got a bit bigger (around 30 weeks), a pair of hipsters from Glassons in a bigger size were most comfy.

I lived in Dolly Bird pants. They have a big stretchy waist band that rolls down to any length you want. And they not even maternity pants, normal ppl wear them as well. But I think dolly bird is only in Hamilton, not sure.

Glassons are awesome at the moment. Lots of long tops!

Maternity Wear though - Mobea. www.mobea.co.nz
I just bought myself a survival kit from their catalogue last week. I chose the one which includes long black pants, a wrap/poncho (gorgeous) and a sleeveless ruched top (which can also be used post pregnancy for breastfeeding)
Mobea has the best styles I have found by far. They aren't puffy and baggy like I found pumpkin patch and JKs to be. They are more classy & stylish. Their design compliment our pregnany bodies rather than hide them.
I think they are perfect for the working mother-to-be as they look stunning for the office/evening out, and feel waaaay to comfortable to be true! :o)
I am wearing their pants now and I am in HEAVEN
The main thing I loved about their clothing... the material they use is so flexible, any of the clothes you buy can be worn post pregnancy also!! So its not like you are paying alot of money for a few months wear.
Highly Recommend them. Only available via catalogue, but great to deal with, fast delivery (next day) and great return options if needed (I didn't need to)

TradeMe! I got four or five things from TM which took me right through my pregnancy, and they cost me no more than $10 each, and were basically brand new.

Another good place is Ezibuy (the Sara) clothes. I have just got two tops that were not bad priced and i will be able to wear them both right through.
