can I give my still gummy 7 month old??

She doesn't like the lumpy stage two foods, so we're still working on the thicker mashed/pureed stuff without big chunky bits..
Can I offer her toast? Cruskets? Rusks? What spreads are they allowed if any? Fruit in a Fresh food feeder?

 Thanks in advance

Daniel didnt get teeth until he was 8 months..

I gave him toast, cruskits, pieces of fruit and vege, rice crackers, milk arrowroots, rusks, wafers..

Spreads wise Jams are ok (but some have high sugar content) and vegemite/marmite. Honey and peanut butter are a no no.

Oh so I could pretty much give her anything that doesn't have high sugar content then? She has been having rusks since she was 5 months old (even though they state 6mos on the box ), so she knows what to do with them so I guess toast and cruskets etc should be okay if I watch her closely..
I think I might stay away from spreads now that you mention the sugar content, marmite and vegemite will do at this stage... she doesn't seem to put off by bland tasting goods LOL

Briahna still has no teeth. I give her crackers (rice crackers, cruskits etc), biscuits, sammys, toast, fruit. She pretty much sucks and munches it till she can swallow it, shes pretty good with that stuff.

Hmm I give briahna peanut butter on her sandwiches...

my watties carrot chart says smooth peanut butter is ok from 8 months as long as there is no history of allergies in the family, just be careful the first time i guess

T still has no teeth, you can do snax crackers, rice crackers, cruskits, strips of cooked veg/fruit, pop in bit sandwiches, milk arrowroot bikkies just dissolve in mouth

i got the idea for using the anathoth jam which has less sugar in it and only sugar and fruit from here. I gave t jam sandwich once and he wouldnt eat it! so we just stick to marmite and peanut butter for now and avocado

Mr T loved plain biscuits and crackers at that stage. Fruit in a fruit thingy is fine - banana is also good as its soft and weetbix if you want a different brekkie cereal is good too.

Daniel turns his nose up at weetbix. I wish he would enjoy it. He will only accept toast and custard for brekkie lol

Ella loves her weetbix, especially when it is mixed with warm milk and yoghurt- Yum
Ella fav fruit is any type of melon- she loves it and it is so easy to eat (it's a pity that tthey are going out of season now). Also bananas are nice and handy (and easy to eat as well)
Have also just found a receipe for homemade breadsticks and am so am going to give those a go.

Be careful with weetbix, our pead advised that it has too much fibre for littlies to digest, best to leave it until 18 months +
