... I just can't help myself - it's just all bubbling away in there and I have to share!
They're doing a reference test, YAYA! 
I've been looking for a new job for a while now (some may have even read my post about issues in my current job) - last week I went for two job interviews, one I was way more keen on than the other...
Weeelllll - the one I really liked the sound of, turns out that I was one of five to actually be interviewed - and now they're doing my reference checks!  They alluded that this would be the final step should I get that far during the interview so while DH is telling me not to get my hopes up (specially after recent let-downs in the job market) I just can't help myself! Oh, and I was told I had interviewed really well... ooo, I'm sooo happy!! 
We really do need a fingers crossed emoticon - I could so do with posting that here about now!

Thanks... all your good wishes seem to have helped - got a call back and my reference was glowing apparently and I am definitely the preferred candidate just got to do some psychometric personality tests  bu they don't expect I'll have trouble 'passing' that and I will have the job offer by Friday.

Now I'm kinda glad I'm on a sixmonth wait list for lap surgery as it'd kinda throw a spanner in the works if I got PG now... but there is Murphy and all that
