What exactly do they look like?? Can some have colour?? are they obvious to see with out straining??
If you held an evap line about a metre in front of you - can you still see it??

Itll be good to be clued up on them seen as they seem rather common....

TIA

My understanding is that they are normally colourless or greyish. However it is possible for a coloured line to come up after the test time. Have a look at http://peeonastick.com/hpt/cautionary.html

Yep after the reaction time which is normally 10mins it is possible for a line to come up which is normally colourless or like a dent often only seen when you hold it at a certain angle. They can be coloured, an outline or half a line or common as well.

In saying that I had alot of what I thought were evaps turn out to be EXTREMELY faint positives but with a pregnancy that only had minimal HCG and was not viable.

If any sort of line is coming up within the first 10 minutes then it is a positive, disregard what the test says after that 10mins though.

In general a faint positive should be a bit darker tomorrow so thats always a good way to tell.

Diary of a POAS-aholic

Oh also I have had evaps on FR and some of them were quite dark grey and clear, others could only be seen in certain lights But this always happened AFTER the reaction time

thanks cuppatea and NeoshasMummy - thats great info thanks

The FR test done with FMU is an obvious pink and is darker than my tests from Astin (i have kept them!lol) but the quickstick one is a hum and a har!
I just did another FR test and i "think" i can see something ....which really just translates into 'i can see something but its all in my head!" lol...
