Yeah Andrew does kinda, but do I get a straight answer - usually not.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Hannah answers why. Briona shuts down when we ask why, as though we are interrogating her, and doesn't say anything beyond "I don't know". She will yes/no prompts though (such as, did you do that for fun/to be naughty?)
