How often on average should a 2 1/2 month old baby feed? Ava is feeding every 3 hours still - up to 7 times a day.

Yep, sounds normal to me too .
We switched Jimmy over to 4 hourly feeds at 4 months of age. At 4 months he'd have a bottle at approx 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and a *dreamfeed* at 10 or 11pm. Once he started solids at 6 months he stopped needing a bottle during the night.

Joel was going 4-5 hourly, but the last couple of weeks it been 3 hourly during the day and a big sleep at night.
Yesterday went like this - 8.45am, 12pm, 3pm, 6.30 then through till 5.15am!!! yay
You just think you have it sorted and then they change it, Leah did it as well.

Lil miss is still a three hourly feeder, in fact all of my girls were until they were well established on solids.
She feeds around 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm with a dream feed between 10.30pm-11pm and then sometimes one night feed around 4-5am.

Yeah sounds fine,
Caden is 5 months and still feeds every 3 hours, somtimes he goes longer, but he is on solids now aswell so he doesnt have as many bottles as when he was newborn.

3 hourly till 4 months old for us.
7am, 10.30, 2.30, 7 and dreamfeed at 10.30pm.
Then we've just gradually spaced them out to drop the 10.30pm (once established on solids), then the 10.30am, and now he's dropped the morning and half of the afternoon feed too, so pretty much just 1 bottle a day now
