… my son!!!!  - Oliver John McLaughlin Dale (yeah I know - it's a big name for a little boy, I’m sure he’ll grow into it ).
He was born at 21:47 on Friday 9th June all safe and well. Weight = 4010g / 8lb 13oz.
I went into labour about 3am Friday morning. 17 hours later I was finally able to push and then 45 minutes later he was here! The placenta took about 3 ˝ hours to come out – this was because I wasn’t having any contractions to bring it out naturally (even after breastfeeding & getting the jab - Syntocin (?)) so had a side-trip up to Waikato to have it taken out.
Things have been good since coming home. I think hubby & I are settling in OK to becoming parents … though only time will tell!

Oh Oliver is soo gorgeous. I love the le france look. I can't wait for my little bub now... Oh now I'm crying- damn hormones.
