Topic: Phil and Teds buggy covers Posted: 19 January 2010 at 8:11pm |
I have a sport but have not purchased any covers yet, as have been wondering about just getting double covers since we plan on another child in the future.
Can these be used in the standard single buggy mode, is it tidy or is there going to be yards of material flying everywhere? or is it better to start with the single ones?

Doubles will be fine .. it just has a longer panel at the back (To cover the toddler seat on the back), you wont really notice to much of a difference.

I have a Vibe with a double cover and it's great for just the one baby at the moment. It covers so much more than the single one and is very tidy (and easy to use). Assume it would be the same on the sport.
I figured that eventually I was going to need the double so might as well spend a little bit extra now rather than purchasing two separate covers (well actually four as I got the sun cover and the storm cover )

Yep, we've just bought a phil & teds so that we can have double buggy when this bubs arrives. In the meantime we're using the double sun/rain covers on the single buggy and they work fine. A little annoying that they're not as 'neat & tidy' as the single ones cuz they're all loose and flowy down the back, but only from an aesthetic point of view lol No point in buying the single ones since they won't be used for long I figure :)

Kmarie, thats what i hate. they look all baggy like nana undies at the back. LOL
Lillibit, I just have the double covers for our dash. But TBH I have used the rain cover once in 3 months and I got the sun cover especially for our week at the beach and I think we used it twice.
