You could try iceblocks. I ate so many lemonade popsicles and frujus in the first trimester as I couldn't drink water unless it was ice cold and couldn't drink anything else either.

Hey Stacey Huge congrats to you!! Wishing you all the very best
Have you tried drinks like Powerade, Mizone? I lived on these for a while. I also watered them down a bit as they were a bit to 'sweet'.
Ice/Ice blocks would be a great idea too Crunching on ice chips.. mmmmm!

I went and got some milk first thing this morn and it came straight back up too. Bummer cause that worked great with Daniel and Jared.
I'll have to get some iceblocks and try that. I'm getting tired of the headaches cause I'm not getting enough fluid.

Aaaawww stacey, my heart goes out to you- I remember the revolting ms feeling so well Hmmm iceblocks kind of worked for me too....I mean, nothing was GREAT but from memory they were one of the few things I didn't spew up I think we had orange flavoured ones. And hot water seemed ok-ish too. Are you gonna go to the Dr? If and when I next get pg, I'm not gonna suffer like last time for 20 weeks. I'll be getting down to Doc asap lol
((hugs))

No doc, I didn't know drugs for morning sickness existed when I was preg with Daniel and he was healthy. I used them with Jared and he had a major abnormality so I don't want to go down the drug route unless I absolutely have to.
I got some ice blocks, I've had 2 and they have stayed down thus far. Will see if it stays that way.

I lived on bundem (i know I haven't spelt that correctly though) ginger cordial - found the ginger really helped the MS. I liked it best as a hot drink I could sip at, as I found drinking any decent amount in one go never ended well.

Hmm I used to munch on ice chips aswell, just an idea if your not wanting to fork out on ice-blocks all the time and feeling like something a little less sweet, coz I know I had my moments of that... hope your MS goes away soon hun, I totally empathise!

ooh Stacey , do you have one of those iceblock maker things ? you know ,where you pour the drink in , put the lids with the sticks on and freeze them ?
you know what I mean ?
that way you wouldn't have to keep buying them

I second (or third) lemonade iceblocks - they were pretty much all I ate for months with all my pregnancies. Also, with the gremlins I drank litres and litres of Ribena - for some reason I couldn't stomach water, but weak Ribena was OK.

Is there any chance that you can go and get some fluids at your doctors or medical centre? i used to pop in every couple of days with DD2 and get topped up as needed...i also had ketostix (buy them from the chemist) to check my urine to see how dehydrated i was so i knew when to go and get my fluids topped up. It did make alot of difference.
